Roadrunner is seeking to hire a qualified full time journeyman HVAC technicians, project sales professionals, journeyman plumbers, HVAC installers, and new assistant technicians. We are serving the public from Rio Rancho up to Northern New Mexico. Roadrunner Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing is seeking to employ a qualified HVAC technician with at least 2 years experience in repairing residential and light commercial HVAC and boiler equipment. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic we are still working and serving our clients as safely as possible. Team members should have a valid driver’s license, a friendly attitude and be able to safety lift at least 50 lbs. New Mexico certified journeyman will paid a higher hourly rate. Applicant desired shall have some to most of the below abilities:

Have an EPA universal certification card for refrigeration HVAC technician.

Has his/her own basic hand trade tools, refrigeration gauges, drill gun, multi-meters brazing/soldering rigs/kits, plumbing tools, and diagnostic tools for HVAC techs. RAHR will provide major tools (vacuum pump & recovery unit, etc)

Be experienced in successfully repairing and installing residential and light commercial gas package heating/cooling equipment, evaporative coolers, furnaces and especially ductless mini-split systems for HVAC techs.

Have competent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Be experienced in sheet metal ductwork fabrication (not required).

Be experienced repairing regular and high efficiency boilers (including dual combo boilers).

Be able to use a jetter, sewer camera and locator for plumbers.

Have a valid driver’s license is a must with a good driving record.

Be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Be able to maintain good, friendly, interpersonal communication skills with clients and coworkers. Have high ethical standards for honesty and a do it right attitude.

Have a safety first mindset.

Be able to successfully do work requested with little supervision. Be able to supervise whenever necessary a small crew to get work done quicker.

Salary: $20.00 to $40.00 /hour plus an attractive spiff program that has resulted in some team members being able to double their weekly income. Qualified candidates will receive up to a $5,000.00 sign on bonus depending on meeting performance marks.
