Looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Administrative Assistant for a part-time position at a local church.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Preparing weekly worship bulletins
- Writing e-mail announcements and documents of all types
- Promoting church and its events via the church website and Facebook page
- Scheduling and volunteer management
- Writing and designing a quarterly newsletter
- General office tasks including answering phones, responding to e-mails, and greeting visitors
- Assisting pastor and church board with administrative tasks as required
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Good communication skills, personable, organized, flexible, and self-motivated
- Flawless grammar, spelling, and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- A high level of competence with the MS Office Suite (esp. WORD, EXCEL, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Familiarity with social media and website maintenance using the Wordpress platform
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Must be comfortable working in a church environment
Position would be 10-12 hours per week, flexible schedule.
