Automotive Service Advisor

Formula Ford of Montpelier, VT is currently looking for a Service Advisor with a proven track record, or a person looking to get into the business. We are willing to train the right applicant.

We are looking for service advisors to join our team and help support our team.

Job Responsibilities:

-Intakes customer vehicles, greets customers in a timely, friendly manner, let customers waiting in line they will be helped soon

-Obtain customer and vehicle data

-Responsible for quality control from shop and reconditioning department

-Listen to customer to assist in writing up the concern for Technician

-Generating service order estimates and quotes for customers and clearly communicate them

-Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized schedule

-Conducting active delivery and repair order follow up

-Resolving customer issues

-Continue to maintain the Formula Ford Way

-Assist service manager in maintaining a smooth-running efficient service department with a high degree of customer satisfaction

-Describe concerns accurately and clearly on the repair order for Technicians

-Assign jobs to Technicians based on skill level and current resource utilization

-Review work in process to ensure quality and timeliness

-Occasionally assist Technicians with technical bulletins and other resources when needed

-Determine correct part numbers on repair orders and assist parts department when needed
