This role works closely with the Project Manager to implement policies and procedures required for project success. The Structures Engineer is expected to maintain a good knowledge of the contract specifications, documents and the scope of work, including subcontracts and purchase orders and to assist in development of project status reports and profit projections on our Fairway Drive Grade Seperation project - City of Industry, CA. is expected to maintain a good knowledge of the contract specifications, documents and the scope of work, including subcontracts and purchase orders and to assist in development of project status reports and profit projections on our Highway 101 Project in King City, California.

Functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to evaluate and ensure relation and compliance to project requirements

Obtain and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, contractors/subcontractors, or other project related entities

Maintain document and project controls systems and procedures

Monitor, evaluate and ensure compliance with systems and procedures

Participate in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information

Evaluate, track, and ensure contractor, architect, engineer, and provide contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment for project leadership

Perform independent analysis and evaluation of change orders and provide recommendations to project leadership

Engage in project quality program processes and procedures

Assist in management of project permit process

Assist in compiling reports regarding financial performance of the project

Assist in preparation of monthly reports, as required

Communicate and enforce Safety Management Program

Coordinate, Communicate. Schedule and Manage Subcontractors and Suppliers in pursuit of project goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Heavy Civil Construction background with 2+ years

Structures Engineer experience required

Experience will all aspects of construction

Must be safety oriented – 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred, but not required.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Strong work ethic – willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Ability to function as a team builder/player.

The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.

Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite

Valid California Driver's License
