Swanson Rink Equal Employment Opportunity/M/F/disability/protected veteran statusDescription:The Systems Administrator provides network technical support, customer service, end-user support, maintains software and hardware, maintains up-to-date documentation; troubleshoots network, VPN, and portable communication devices.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Installs and configures hardware and software
  • End User/Technical Support
  • Manages network, servers, and applications
  • Sets up and maintains workstations
  • Monitors performance and maintains systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoots issues and outages
  • Follow industry standards for security protocols for access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Upgrades systems with new releases and models
  • Support Hyper-V virtual environment
  • Perform daily system monitoring
  • Perform daily backup operations
  • Updating and maintaining Window servers with establish best practices
  • Updating and maintaining domain services including Active Directory, Group Policy DNS, DHCP and Certificate Services
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades
  • Build and configure virtual and physical servers in a physical environment
  • Builds an internal library of documentation and IT policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent certification and experience
  • Familiarity with various operation systems and platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Must be able to work overtime or be in an on-call rotation as needed
  • Demonstrated track-record of successfully troubleshooting and resolving problems with computer software, network, remote access and other equipment, including mobile device
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
  • Experience with databases, networks, and patch management
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT and additional Autodesk products a plus
  • MCP or related Microsoft Certifications a plus
  • Must be comfortable with Azure, Teams, and Exchange Online
  • Familiar with enterprise endpoint protection and best practices
Salary will be based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. The pay range and benefits offered for this position is expected to be:
  • $74,000 - $97,000
  • Health care benefits, company paid holidays, Paid Time Off, 401(k)
