OneMain Financial has launched a new Credit Cards business based in Charlotte, NC. The Cards business operates like a startup with the full backing of OneMain Financial. The Cards team is small and growing fast, having just launched its first MVP and quickly iterating to create a multi-product portfolio.The Senior Digital Product Manager will be responsible for driving product vision and strategy on a cross functional team. This leader will partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Design to launch engaging features and experiences grounded in customer needs. This individual will own and drive forward an active roadmap that ladders up to the portfolio and overall company performance goals. This leader will drive and oversee the performance of a dynamic Agile product team, contributing to a highly motivated culture of success.The successful candidate will:

  • Think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends associated with decisions and incorporate them into the roadmap.
  • Lead product team in an Agile environment.
  • Quickly evolve a newly delivered MVP that will transform into multiple products within the portfolio.
  • Use APIs to enable amazing customer experiences and features that will resonate with users.
  • Foster and build a culture of success, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Navigate in a nimble environment and drive success in unknown territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical execution and continuous delivery of new mobile and web features and supporting platform functionality
  • Partner closely with cross-functional business teams to identify and capture requirements
  • Manage cross functional Agile scrum team
  • Actively track and manage all aspects of product development including feasibility assessment, requirements grooming, process documentation, hypothesis validation, and testing
  • Partner with Marketing and Research to fully understand customer core needs, pain points, and behavior
Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of leading and managing product teams in an agile, B2C consumer facing product environment. Technically proficient, capable of collaborating with Engineering teams. Strong comfort level using APIs to enable product strategy and support digital customer experiences. Experience leading scrum teams in digital environment, including feature prioritization, story grooming, sprint planning, test validation, and release planning. Experience delivering highly successful and innovative digital features and customer experiences. Experience working in a highly regulated industry is a plus.
  • Business Acumen and Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Must be a problem solver and continuous learner with the ability to lead the effort to improve processes, develop and measure employee performance metrics, improve employee satisfaction and delivery levels. This individual must understand root cause analysis and the foundational principles of problems being solutioned.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: A clear communicator with strong presentation and writing skills who gets along with people at all levels of the organization.
