Summary: One Grounds Management is looking for an experienced, organized, and driven Production Manager. Our Production Managers are key to successfully meeting our client contract standards and providing the highest level of customer service. The position plays an instrumental role in building long-term and loyal relationships by becoming the name and face of this business, all of which are based upon our core values. Position is responsible for necessary follow-up and follow-through to ensure client sites are meeting contract standards, maintain positive customer relations, exceed expectations and ensure contract renewal

Responsibilities/Activities

-Manage the landscape and snow removal maintenance on a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring customer satisfaction, delivery of quality products and services while achieving goals for profitability, contract renewals and enhancements.

-Develop strong positive relationships with customer base based upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust and ability to meet and exceed customer needs. Develop a win-win opportunity for the customer and the company.

-Monitor activity of Service Partners and works closely with area production team regarding scheduling, ensuring high levels of service, superior quality, a safe working environment.

-Responsible for assuring the property meets customer expectation in terms of appearance and contract standards.

-Conduct monthly Quality Site Assessment of service partners’ work on client’s sites.

-Conduct pre- and post- season site inspections.

-Present and sell site enhancement services that add value to the property improve the overall site and represent a proactive perspective of their property.

-Identify and communicate business development opportunities to Sales team.

-Coordinate new service partners to service client sites.

-Pre-qualify service partners and negotiate contract terms

-Support Service Partner Services team to ensure proper service partner agreements are secured in a timely manner.

-Develop and sustain long term relationships with service partners to ensure consistency of service to client.

-Provide instruction to service partners regarding client expectations.

-Communicate non-contract client requests and ensure work is scheduled and completed within established time frames.

-Assist as necessary to requests for bid by providing industry insight and market evaluation.

-Stay current on industry best practices and develop and recommend improved work methods and standards.

-Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends in order to identify and act upon opportunities for expanded services.

-Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience in Commercial Landscape Management required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

A demonstrated track-record of success as measured by the relationships you have developed.

Hands on approach to task management, employee and customer interaction.

Responsive to clients’ needs and requests, able to identify and resolve customer concerns.

Strong working knowledge of computer software a must (Windows and Microsoft Office).

Possession of a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Listen, speak, sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities frequently.

Push and maneuver heavy objects using carts, dollies, or dumpsters weighing up to 100 pounds

Incumbents will be exposed to noise, dust, fertilizer, pesticides, and exhaust fumes

Position could be subject to emergency callback, evening, and weekend work.
