PI/WC Paralegal

Essential Job Functions:

Drafting routine correspondence and maintain established contact with clients, medical providers, and attorney's offices.

Ordering medical records and bills

Preparation and submission of settlement packages.

Assisting with written discovery

Assisting with trial preparation

Ensure and maintain case reviews as outline in the manual.

Preparation and submission of medical payments.

Ensure and maintain initial and follow up contact with the clients.

Effective Communication and great customer service skills

Qualifications

A minimum of one to two years of Personal Injury/WC petitioner experience;

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, attorneys and staff;

Self-starter with the ability to enforce a positive and professional image;

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems;

Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities;

Well-organized, efficient, detail oriented and hard-working;

Ability to effectively multi-task;

Strong verbal and written communication;

Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills;

Extremely reliable;

Typing 60 wpm is preferred;

Editing/proofreading;
