Network Engineer

The Denzel Group and award-winning recruitment firm has been chosen to work with a strong healthcare organization on their open Network Engineer role. Our client is a leading healthcare organization in the Rochester NY area that offers fantastic benefits, great work environment and room for internal growth. The Network Engineer will report directly to the Manager of IS&T Network and will focus on the support of enterprise technologies (VOIP, Security, Routing, Layer 3 switching) in complex networking environments. This person will need to have the ability to manage large projects, develop documentation, and testing processes.

• Experience working within an Enterprise Network environment
• Experience with networking equipment such as high-end Cisco Routers and switches, Juniper Routers, particularly in a fully meshed, fault-tolerant Gigabit Ethernet environment.
• Experience with IP Addressing and subnetting
• Knowledge of THCP, DHCP, DNS
• Experience with OSPF and HSRP is required
