Established Maine general contractor looking for a full time jack-of-all-trades "Contractor, Builder, Carpenter, etc." with a wide skill set and years of experience in renovations. Your PRIMARY focus with our company is renovating dated apartment units in South Portland.

You should be reliable, hardworking and friendly (representing the company well with homeowners/vendors/clients). You should work well individually but also in a team setting as required. Must be authorized to work in the US with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

JOB DECRIPTION

The position will primarily work to renovate apartment units, which includes ordering and coordinating materials, and scheduling and overseeing sub-contractors onsite as needed. Tasks may include installing appliances, flooring, tile, cabinetry, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures (vanities, tubs, sinks, faucets), doors (interior and fire doors), plus perform general repairs as needed. We have other crew members who can assist. Other tasks may include drywall patching, touch-up painting, light carpentry (interior trim, built-ins), etc. You will work with a variety of materials and expected to safely use hand tools and power tools. Note: Any commercial grade electrical & plumbing the project requires will be done using our licensed commercial subs.

Additional duties may be assigned, including assisting with "punch list" items on other job sites in Southern Maine (Greater Portland down to Biddeford/Saco). Employee should be able to follow directions, maintain a clean workspace, adhere to safety guidelines and possess good time management/organizational skills.

Pay range NEGOTIABLE depending on experience, but experience in Construction, Property Maintenance, and/or Carpentry is required for the position. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, typically from 7am-4pm. Benefits include 401K, Holiday pay, and Vacation time after 90-day waiting period.
