This hands-on role provides leadership in all technical aspects of our projects, architecting end-to-end solutions across distributed, host and business intelligence environments. Important to the success of this position is the ability to understand business challenges and to translate them into long term sustainable technical solutions. The Solution Architect will work in conjunction with the architecture community/IT Delivery Leadership and Business partners to ensure alignment with roadmaps, reference architecture and standards through a common assurance process. The ideal candidate will have experience in current technologies and be able to lend hands-on expertise if needed.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Work with our Technology Value Stream agile teams on various modernization initiatives

Work closely with the architecture and design teams in establishing implementation patterns for the solutions

Influence organizational direction in strategically complex and/or sensitive environments

Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance.

Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations.

Leverage defined roadmap, reference architecture and standards for PIBT and the Enterprise.

Architect end-to-end solutions for multi layered applications on a variety of technology stacks .

Define pros and cons of solution options to arrive at consensus around architecture decisions.

ensure recommended architecture is consistent, maintainable, flexible, and cost effective

Conduct PoV and related MVP for new ideas and solutions to evangelize the idea through practical usage

Ensure sound architectural practices are followed through architecture blueprint, design and code reviews and through mentorship and organization influence.

Partner with delivery teams and product management areas to recommend appropriate frameworks and patterns;

Assist in the remediation of application stability and performance.

assist the agile teams as they perform feature level design, development, testing, and performance analysis;

Work with Enterprise to establish required infrastructures and frameworks.

Communicate effectively and in the context of your audience.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

3 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture required.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

5 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture preferred.

Job Specific Technical Skills & Competencies

Familiar with Agile Development Methodology

Familiar with the .NET framework including .NET Core

Experience with Spring Framework in Java or Kotlin

Experience with microservice development

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices

Familiar and experience a plus with Cloud native on PCF

Familiar and experience a plus with Public Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
