Tow Truck Operator (3rd Shift) $2000 HIRING BONUS

TOW TRUCK OPERATOR – 3rd SHIFT (Tues, Weds, Thurs: 10pm-6am; Fri, Sat: 2pm-10pm) (Sun & Mon off)

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Operate light-duty wheel lift tow truck with dollies

- Roadside assistance (i.e., tire changes, lockout service, jump starts)

- Routine patrol of private properties checking for vehicles in violation

- Communicating with dispatchers and customers

- Ability to operate cloud-based towing software

- Completing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections

- Daily cleaning of tow truck

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous towing experience preferred, but willing to train the right person

- Solid work history

- Clean driving record (no more than 2-3 minor violations in the last 3 years; no major violations)

- Minimum age of 25

- Ability to handle physical workload and lift 75 lbs.

- Strong work ethic (honest, dependable, reliable, responsible)

- Common sense and the ability to problem-solve (tow vehicles without keys or in tight spaces)

- Mechanical knowledge a Plus

- General knowledge of vehicle makes/models including drive train (AWD vs. FWD, etc.)

- Good geographical knowledge of Omaha and surrounding areas

- Self-Motivated, fast learner

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with no supervision

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
