Your responsibilities as an Insurance Claims Specialist: Adjudicating claims using standard principles and state specific policies and regulations Identifying errors in the coding and billing process, abuse and fraudulent billing practices, waste and provider overpayments Answering provider questions regarding reimbursement Meeting department quality and productivity metricsRequirements At least 1 year of healthcare experience required preferably with a health insurance organization Medical Terminology Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
