Accounts Recievable Specialist

DescriptionAR Specialist- Career Building Role!A well-known and growing QC organization is partnering with Robert Half to add an AR Specialist to their team. This organization has historically promoted from within and this role offers much room for growth as you will be working directly with the company’s Controller. Our client offers a fun and collaborative work environment as well as a flexible work schedule.Responsibilities: Support corporate accounts receivable including reviewing daily aging reports and maintaining cash logs Responsible for daily cash applications daily Prepare adjusting journal entries Work with general accounting team to appropriately recognize revenue Reconcile and identify general ledger variances Responsible for applying cash receipts for the corporate accounting team Reach out to AP contacts via email and phone for missing documentation and to follow up on invoices Will be cross trained on check requests and different AR reports Responsible for ad-hoc reports including running aging reports Process cash for multiple lines of business Will be responsible for an average of 50 cash receipts per day once up to speed Eventually you will crossed trained in Accounts PayableIf you are looking for an excellent position that will assist you in building your career than this direct hire role could be ideal for you. Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds

AA in Accounting or related field preferred

Electronic Payments experience

4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience and 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Good understanding of Excel Formulas

Adeptness in incoming payments

Experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

Work experience involving general ledger preferred, but not required
