Job Title : Lead Application DeveloperLocation : Alpharetta, GAJob Duties:ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Deliver software adhering to agile software engineering practices, including test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and automated tests. Develop software applications and components, test and debug programs, and support production. Design technical architectures for software solutions. Develop specifications for new software products/services, applications and service offerings. Work with business partners to drive and capture system functional and non-functional requirements - security, scalability, and maintainability. Define and capture software architecture for systems and components. Identify, evaluate and select appropriate technology, and develop and document design models. Demonstrate prototypes and released application software to both a business and developer audience in solution development.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus seven years of experience.Work Experience:Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; Microservices; Spring boot; Spring cloud related technologies; Messaging frameworks, including JMS, Active MQ or Kafka; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Jest; SQL Data Store Oracle; GIT, Jenkins or Jira; Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE; and Linux and Windows OS.Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability as a problem-solver

Expert in object oriented JavaScript/jQuery Expert in HTML5 and CSS3

Working knowledge in security and performance

Working knowledge in CI (continuous integration)

Working knowledge of CSS pre-processors ie: LESS, SASS
