Including, but not limited to, credit card, bank statement, GL, and System Fund ledger reconciliations. Additional duties include oversight of the University’s accounts receivables, the Business Office portion of fixed assets, USAS oversight and other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:
AP Reconciliations
USAS Oversight
Account Receivable Oversight
Business Office portion of Fixed Assets
Equity transfers
Maintains 100% compliance with timely completions of required System, University and job-specific online training courses
Other duties as assigned.
Necessary Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of accounting experience.
Proficient with MS Office suite-particularly Excel.
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and attitude.
Detail oriented with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate financial data, policies and guidelines in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to contribute to the team while maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism, cooperation and service.
May be required to work additional hours throughout the year, particularly during fiscal year close.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advance degree in Accounting or related field
Experience performing account reconciliations
Ellucian-Colleague financial system experience.
Experience working in a University environment.
