Water Damage, Fire, Mold Abatement Technician - Mitigation and Repairs (Chico)

CRBR, an industry-leading Restoration Company, is currently looking for a qualified Water/Smoke/Mold Mitigation Technician in the Chico area. This position will perform water mitigation, content manipulation, fire and smoke cleaning of structure and contents, remediation of mold and microbial contamination within residential and commercial structures. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a reliable team player and demonstrates a "can-do" attitude.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Construction of containment systems and critical barriers

Monitoring of environmental controls and negative pressure

Operation of air scrubbers and negative air machines

Monitoring moisture and humidity

Precision demolition

Removal of contaminated building materials

Post-remediation detailed cleaning and fire odor restoration

Water damage emergency response and monitoring

Mold remediation

Biohazard cleanup

Set up and monitor drying equipment

Apply antimicrobial products

Proper use of PPE equipment including respirator, gloves, and goggles.

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer at least 2 years of mitigation experience

Graduation from high school

Must have a valid Driver's license and Vehicle insurance

Must be able to pass a drug test

Qualifications that are a PLUS:

Current IICRC certifications for WRT, AMRT, CDS, ASD

Knowledge of Moisture Mapper, MICA and Xactimate

Working knowledge of mobile applications including email, video and photo messaging,

calendars and electronic time keeping
