This is a hands on maintenance position and is responsible for make readies, work orders, general maintenance and repair. The position is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet Monarchs established standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority

-Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants

-Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications

-Exterior structural maintenance as needed

-Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every other week.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

-2+ years’ experience in maintenance

-1+ years in multi-family housing preferred

-Dry walling including painting and carpentry

-Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe

-Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

-CPO preferred but not required

-HVAC certification preferred but not required

-EPA certification strongly preferred but not required

-Boilers class 1, 2 or special is strongly preferred but not required

-A valid Driver's License is REQUIRED
