Property Accountant

Description Robert Half is currently working with a long-time Real Estate client, looking for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.Key responsibilitiesSupport management reporting by preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses

Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease

Assemble reporting packages and financial statements

Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries

Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger

Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

Analyze and coordinating a variety of financial data and reporting it in a clear, useful manner

Previous experience in public accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must

Experience with industry specific accounting software

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
