Night Operations Agent LAX

Adecco is assisting a full-service global transportation and logistics provider to immediately fill a Night Operations role in their Hawthorne, CA location. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Be the primary interface between customers, sales, system operations, and vendors

Implement Domestic air and ground routing (including Canada)

Being familiar with local carriers and transit times and cut offs; ensuring air cut off are made; preparing docs for air shipments

Data Entry

Complete and accurate entry of shipment info; knowing account specific requirements; auditing of pre-entered bills; researching shipments

Provide quality Customer Service while meeting company policies and procedures

Answering phones/email in professional and timely manner

Understand and accurately know how to use OAG, KSMS; TSA regulations and other resources/tools provided

To be considered for this Night Operations position, you:

Have 2 years dispatching experience

Work at a fast pace

Can apply basic problem-solving skills

Must be able to work 6pm-2:30am M-F plus daily overtime and weekend on-call rotations

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas

Intermediate level Excel and Word

Ability to accurately type a minimum of 35 wpm

Ability to manage deadlines

Good written and oral communication skills

High School Diploma or equivalent
