Position: Oracle Fusion Middleware Lead Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ months The Client has set ambitious goals to ensure that every child-in every school and every neighborhood-has access to a world-class learning experience from birth, resulting in graduation from high school college- and career-ready. Information Technology Services is seeking Oracle Fusion Middleware Lead Developer to join the team to manage Oracle Enterprise Applications and systems processes. Client has Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Web Center 11g, WFR 11g, Web Logic 11g, BPM 11g, AIA and PIP's. The Oracle Fusion Middleware Lead Developer will be held accountable for the following responsibilities: Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of Oracle Fusion Middleware technology products. Lead development team and their development efforts of comprehensive integration solutions using Oracle Middleware 11g as the core. Perform functional and technical support for Oracle Suite of applications by logging, tracking and escalating issues in accordance with procedures Perform technical support for Client developed custom applications. Perform Oracle configuration, setup, data load activities to support issue resolution Interface with Oracle Support and external software vendors for product issue troubleshooting and resolution Adhere to defined support policies, procedures and service levels Ability to multi task and comfortable with changing priorities Assist in upgrade, enhancement configuration and testing activities as needed. Provide application and process subject matter expertise as needed and provide levels of effort for each enhancement. Gather and track business and functional requirements for new requests / changes Evaluate Oracle application patch levels and provide recommendations on system upgrades. In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities, the Oracle Fusion Middleware Lead must possess the following qualifications: Type of Education Required: Bachelor's degree required, focus in Information Systems preferred Type of Experience and Number of Years: Implementation and support experience of Oracle Fusion Middleware suite of products. Experience in leading application development team Experience in integrating enterprise applications Experience Oracle SOA tools hands-on development required Experience in developing applications using Oracle Applications Framework(ADF), Java, J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript and frameworks like Spring, Struts, Hibernate etc Experience in Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Application Integration Architecture (AIA), Java/J2EE, JDeveloper, BPEL, BPM, BAM, XML, XSLT, Coherence, Web services, REST, APIs, etc. Experience with Oracle Application Server, and Oracle Weblogic Expertise with TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer. Experience in working with version control and software configuration management tools including Subversion and PVCS. Experience defining adapters (AQ, MQ, DB, file), XSLT transformations, and building integrations via SOA composites involving BPEL orchestrations, adapters, mediators, XML, XSLT transformations, OSB services, REST/SOAP APIs, business rules and workflows etc required Oracle SOA Suite preferably 12xx, WebLogic and JMS/AQ/MQ/DB/file sources/adapters BPMN/BPEL, OSB, JSON, XML/XSLT, XSD, PL/SQL skills including performance tuning Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g/12c Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong written and oral communications skills. Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies. Willingness and ability to train and teach others. Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements.
