Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Kent, WA. This role is to support financial controls for an earned-value management controlled portfolio of projects and programs. Candidate must have earned value management, earned value management system, and estimate at complete experience.Position Responsibilities:Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs.
Develops performance reports.
Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management.
Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.
Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends.
Leads development of business cases using appropriate indices.
Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in a finance related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts
2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
2+ years of experience with Estimates at Complete (EAC)
Experience with Microsoft Excel application
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Master’s degree
Experience with DelTek Cobra
