Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division, is seeking a Lead Enterprise Technology Advancement and Training Engineer (Level 4) to join our team in Springfield, VA. The Command and Control Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of spacecraft operations and maintenance. In addition, our team work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Our group works all facets of spacecraft operations from spacecraft control, spacecraft system engineering, mission planning, vehicle engineering.Position Overview:The Lead Enterprise Technology Advancement and Training Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity development projects. As a member of our team, this position interacts frequently with our Double Eagle Enterprise Trainers across the country as well as internal and external customers. The Enterprise Trainer will focus on providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and developing training solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. This role will include facilitating, coordinating, briefing, providing training materials, multimedia delivery to improve and modernize course materials, delivering technical training, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing technical and non-technical training in accordance to the spacecraft ground station operations.Position Responsibilities:Site Training Website.

Training Academy Registration.

Schedule, communicate/advertise, and conduct training.

Creating, updating, and baseline training material across programs and courses and in coordination with Site Leadership and program subject matter experts (SMEs).

Frequently interact, field questions, and support/provide information for all site personnel via varying means of communication.

Perform quality control checks, updates, and baseline materials for training use, accessibility, and classes.

Provide and maintain training materials and instructions for new missions being integrated and system modifications.

Provide familiarization training in the Basic Operations Training Course.

Provide and instruct Big Picture courses concerning supported space assets and ground infrastructure.

Lead and support enterprise training initiatives and projects.

Provide overall coordination of Site Training initiative and established programs across sites and make use of common training best practices as appropriate.

Assist Subject Matter Experts (SME) on how to refine curriculum.

Work Authorization:This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain an Adjudicated Counter-Intelligence Polygraph Pre-Start. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years or more of experience being proficient with MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel).

1 year or more of experience with Customer interaction and interface.

1 year or more of experience with written and verbal, public speaking in various work environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience expressing creative concepts in multimedia formats for video presentations.

Experience working with Multi-media.

Experience effectively communicate—in both written and oral formats for presentation purposes as well as to communicate ideas, concepts, and recommendations

Possess excellent team and interpersonal skills.

Effectively and positively interact with all types of personnel.

Demonstrate initiative and be proactive in task accomplishment.

Experience performing work with limited direction and supervision.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
