Tapestry Solutions supports 85 defense, commercial and government customers from over 50 US locations and nine countries.Boeing Global Services BGS; Tapestry Solutions is seeking an Experienced Database Developer in Swansea, IL.In this role you will provide application development support and sustainment of Tapestry's Global Decision Support System (GDSS) program. GDSS is the primary US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) Command and Control (C2) system, and is a globally distributed enterprise class suite of applications designed, implemented and maintained by Tapestry Solutions. GDSS applications and services provide advanced mission planning, command and control for all phases of mobility operations (airlift, airdrop, and air refueling operations). Users can visualize key aspects such as weather, flight plans, diplomatic clearances, and airfield details to quickly and efficiently determine mission status and make decisions in near real time.Position Responsibilities:Technical Database Lead on GDSS program. Plans, designs, installs, monitors, and maintains the integrity, security, availability, recoverability, reliability and performance of the database management systems (DBMS) architecture.

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post - Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 or more years Oracle Design and development skills – PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):5 or more years Oracle Goldengate knowledge

9 or more years Advanced Oracle database administrative skills

Knowledge of advanced replication techniques

Previous experience on AMC/Air Force contracts

Oracle Database Certification’s

Experience working with Jira, Jenkins, Git, Agile development

Experience leading small teams

Experience with or exposure to MAF C2 programs

Work independently and well together as a member of cross-functional teams

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master’s) and typically 7 or more years’ related work experience, 13 years related work experience.Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
