Retail Vitamin/Natural Health Associate

Gulf Coast Nutrition is an independently owned and operated nutritional supplement store. Because of that, we cater to our customer's needs in ways not possible with a corporately owned operation. Along with the national brands everyone knows and loves, we also strive to carry the unique and highly sought after brands our customers demand. We love our customers and they love us back

Part Time - 20-26 hrs weekly. Possible schedule but flexible: Mon, Tue, Thu: 3:00pm -6:30 pm, Wed 10:00am - 6:30pm, Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm

Effectively assist customers with nutritional supplement choices. Perform normal day to day duties associated with retail sales, inventory, and store upkeep.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist customers and answer questions regarding nutritional supplement choices.

Efficiently process customer register transactions including purchases and returns.

Process incoming orders including input into inventory and shelf placement.

Answer phone inquiries from customers and vendors.

Eventual responsibility of product stock evaluation and ordering.

Perform opening and closing procedures as trained

Perform additional duties as required such as general cleaning and filing.

Experience and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of herbs, vitamins and nutraceuticals.

Knowledge of sports supplements a plus.

Minimum three to five-year experience in retail vitamin/health supplement sales.

Passion for health and wellness industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoys working with people.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e. Holidays, weekends) depending on business needs.

Dependable and punctual.
