Business Analyst - EBS Position Description CGI is looking for a BSA with experience in Oracle E-Business Suit.Must HaveOracle E Business SuiteNice To HaveExperience with EBS General Ledger, Payables, Assets or Project Costing preferredJob DescriptionPartner with Corporate Accounting and other groups to understand their requirements and translate to system requirements and solutions.Work with interfacing systems and Corporate Accounting to the application functions with minimal issues. Assist in issue resolution and root cause analysis.Work with business users and programmers to analyze business processes and systems and recommend improvements.Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout a project.Participate in requirements prioritization.Test and implement new software patches and other system changes. Document test activities, review test results, and record remedial actions.Prepare user documentation and follow-up evaluation for system changes as necessary.Properly enable new users and grant or restrict access as needed to perform authorized work.Able to occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Your future duties and responsibilitiesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field• 4+ years experience in business analysis, operations support, software development, project management, or other directly related experience; a combination of education and experience may meet requirements• The preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of data, data governance, technology governance, systems analysis procedures, project techniques and practices.• Strong SQL skills preferred• Requires strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to effectively work with management, peers, and staff.• Candidate must be able to estimate scope and schedule required and meet deadlines.• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal• Writing \ Tuning complex SQL code.Skill set/Years of experience/Proficiency levelMinimum Education Required: Bachelors DegreeEst. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $56,000-$125,000Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado.
