Job Description:Position PurposeThe Strategic Planning Consultant is an integral member of the Strategy Office team and is tasked with developing insightful, data-driven recommendations to Intermountain senior leaders to address complex business strategy, innovation, and operations issues that further Intermountain's mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible.We will be hiring at multiple levels for this role dependent upon the experience level of our candidate pool.ScopeThe Strategic Planning Consultant is responsible for system-wide strategic planning and working with cross-functional teams and completing work on approved strategy projects. They report to the Strategy Office Value Realization Partner, but are supervised by the appropriate Strategy Office Partner, Initiative Leader, and Executive Sponsor for each project. This individual will support large, complex engagements by analyzing data, markets, and competitors, building financial models, and packaging clear recommendations to senior leaders. Potential projects involve many different services, departments, and functions across the organization such as clinical and non-clinical operations, quality and patient safety, strategy, and business development.Job Essentials1) Leads highly engaged and high-functioning teams that consistently deliver and/or exceed internal customer needs2) Provides clear recommendations aligned with Intermountain’s strategy and mission, and backed by rigorous analysis, to Intermountain senior leaders3) Works with leaders to develop and evaluate capital, operating, and growth proposals as part of the annual financial plan and Five-year Plan process4) Consults on major strategy development and scenario plans for system divisions, hospitals, clinical programs, and clinical services.5) Manages work independently and serves as a liaison between project teams and Executive Sponsors6) Performs specifically defined tasks to support system initiativesMinimum Qualifications6 years of experience in strategy, finance, or operational roles.-and-Proven success in prior roles as evidenced by promotions or roles of increasing responsibilityand -
