The Endpoint Engineering Team is committed to delivering secure and reliable systems management solutions that provide superior management and automation capabilities across both client and data center environments. We are responsible for all aspects of the design, configuration and integration of systems management solutions for all Windows devices. Qualifications Job Responsibilities. The candidate will be expected to independently own or contribute to many of the on-going initiatives in the Endpoint Engineering squad. This includes designing new implementations and transitioning those to production status with appropriate automation, monitoring, and documentation. The candidate will have a very strong technical foundation, a strategic mind-set, great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team. The core responsibilities of this position include: Lead critical engineering/architecture initiatives with a view towards overall Enterprise Technology Services strategic goals. Engineer new and sustain existing/new management related technologies into the firm. Ensure systems management products meet the necessary security, supportability and performance requirements. Ensure we meet our internal client expectations around user experience. Create, review, maintain support documentation. Provide engineering escalation support, and help troubleshoot and identify root causes to resolving them. Dissemination of knowledge amongst peers. The ideal candidate will have experience leading enterprise scale initiatives and extensive experience/knowledge of Windows operating systems, and strong knowledge of the overall systems management ecosystem including system life cycle management. Qualifications - External Experience:5-10 yrs. Required Skills Deep technical understanding of Windows operating systems up to and including Windows 10, Server2019 Deep technical understanding of Microsoft SCCM. Desktop/Laptop or Server Hardware Knowledge and Management in an enterprise environment. Strong troubleshooting mind-set (i.e. parsing event logs, Sy Internals tools, analyzing memory dumps etc.). Experience of Automation. Scripting skills with PowerShell. Experience designing technical solutions to meet complex business requirements. Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks). Desired Skills Windows and Application Patching/Servicing Knowledge of Cloud based services (Azure, AWS) Knowledge of common Windows Infrastructure e.g. Active Directory/GPO Experience of large-scale OS, software, and patch deployment tools and techniques in globally distributed organizations. Knowledge of common third-party tools used to manage/support large environments e.g. AppSense/Splunk Experience with system life cycle management Experience with security related products used in lifecycle management of systems ( e.g. decommission, disk hygiene) HAVE A NICE DAY !
