Job Title: Change Management / Content Specialist (Remote) Location: Remote (Denver, CO) Rate: $55/hr. on C2C Duration: 9 Months Job Type: Corp-Corp / 1099 / Contract W2 Job Description: Summary:

  • Colorado Office of Information Technology is seeking an experienced change management
  • professional to work with state and vendor teams on content and change management related
  • projects that support the operation and maintenance of the Colorado Benefits Management
  • System, PEAK and associated systems. These combined systems and applications support
  • eligibility and enrollment determination and processing for medical and cash assistance
  • programs for the state.
  • This position will support system user communication and change management work as part of
  • release activities and in parallel with the completion of other system readiness work, including
  • user driven functional system changes.
Duties: Primary job duties include the following:
  • Assist CBMS Business Readiness & Communications team in drafting and editing
  • documents and Online Help instructions
  • Research projects and user trends to plan and execute change management activities
  • Presentations to CBMS users and stakeholders in all counties and eligibility sites
  • Support system users by collaborating in creation and maintenance of user-facing
  • documentation and standard operating procedures, guides, and artifacts that support usability
  • Participate in release planning and post release command center activities, when required
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention
  • to detail.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and
  • Google Suite
  • Content writing experience for all media platforms.
  • Experience in presentation and public speaking
  • Expertise in the application of commonly accepted style guidelines and writing practices as
  • prescribed in publication use as The Chicago Manual of Style and The MLA Style Manual
  • Expertise in the use of content and knowledge management tools including Salesforce
  • Knowledge and Salesforce Community
  • Knowledge of project management software, including Atlassian Suite
  • Experience with process documentation and process improvement
  • Must be able to work independently and be proactive in reaching for information
  • Must be comfortable in an environment with rapid change, multiple vendors, and many
  • concurrent projects
Desired/Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS)
  • Understanding of business processes and procedures related to providing health and human
  • services benefits at the county and state levels
  • Understanding of federal and state policy regarding eligibility determination, calculation of
  • health and human services benefits and other functions of the CBMS application
