With ambitious private equity ownership and strong commercial momentum, Micross seeks to further strengthen its operational process capabilities, with the Process Improvement function playing a key role in this evolutions.Job Description: Business Development Manager, Level 1Location: Milpitas, CADepartment: Business DevelopmentReports To: Product Line ManagerSupervises: NoneSummary:We are seeking applicants for our Business Development Manager position which plays a pivotal role in growing Micross/STS new business, accounts, and programs. The Business Development Manager acts as the key technical and program interaction between customers and Micross/STS. The Business Development Manager will be expected to gain technical expertise in the Milpitas/STS site’s service offerings, to understand customers’ requirement, application, order timing, to articulate STS technology strengths and technical values to the customer, and to understand the production cycle. Using that knowledge, the Business Development Manager will qualify leads and inquiries by understanding the customer’s needs to respond quickly with a quote and/or technical proposal. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding existing accounts and developing new opportunities.RequirementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop new business opportunities and expand Micross/STS customer base

Interact with engineering to adequately recommend a service/product solution

Communicate effectively with customers and prospects via phone, email and visits

Coordinate STS Engineering team with customers to provide resolutions to technical issues

Provide second-to-none customer responsiveness and support

Host customers’ site visits/audits and customers calls

Create marketing materials, including presentations and e-blasts

Track and report monthly new business developed and order bookings

Track and report quote activity, to include wins/losses

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a fully accredited institution,

2+ years of experience in technical product development, sales or marketing is preferred.

Experience working in the electronics industry (component knowledge),

Experience within the military/aerospace industry, preferred.

Experience working with ERP systems, desirable.

Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or green card holder.
