Accounting Manager

DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources is recruiting a strong accounting manager with deep fund management experience for our higher education client. The consultant will lead account reconciliations, cash to fund accounts, develop policies and procedures on accounting processes. In addition, the consultant will assist with month-end close, audit schedules, review and post journal entries.Technical Skills:-Non-profit 501(c) 3 experience

Fund accounting

Balance sheet reconciliations (Cash, Accrual, reimbursement and Mics accounts)

Attention to detail

Able to communicate at various levels within the organization

Requirements

Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Non-profit fund accounting experience required

Strong familiarity with account reconciliation

Comprehensive knowledge of 501C3

5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
