CAR WASH MANAGER Professional/ Experienced (Wayne New Jersey)

The following is our car wash manager's role:

You must have a minimum of 5 years recent direct experience as a car wash msnager or don't apply for this job as you will not be considered

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction at a professional car wash.

Day-to-day activities include training and supervising staff along with identifying and resolving customer

concerns and complaints.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance as well as organizational skills for the management of chemistry, wash supplies and labor.

Accountable for accurate reconciliation of all financial transactions, managing vendor relationships and reviewing financial reports for correct disbursement of commissions and other incentives.

Leads marketing initiatives at the wash to drive revenue, promote fundraising opportunities and direct updates to advertising platforms.

Formal education is preferred, though not required.

Must be proficient Speaking English, Spanish as a second language is a plus

Must be a team leader as well as being able to manage and address the concerns of our team

Managers must first and foremost be accountable for ensuring our customer’s satisfaction.

Fundamental Responsibilities:

Customer Service: This is the central role that our car wash manager must perform. He must be trained and proficient at disarming angry customers and guiding them to be raving fans of the wash even when the wash did something wrong.

Onsite Sales: Whether it’s signing people up for e-mail promotions or selling monthly wash subscriptions, every initiative needs a champion and we expect our manager to be that person

Job Requirements (must possess): Prior experience as a manager of a full service car wash (not an express wash) – references will be checked. Candidate must also be mechanically inclined, hard worker, available to work weekends, customer friendly, people person and fully understand the car wash value chain from prep to finished product including detailing as well as inventory management, supplier relationships etc.

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience plus potential to earn commissions and bonuses.
