Position Overview: Operate a CMS+, air splice machine, by loading yarn on creel, monitoring package build, and label, doff and pack out finished yarn package. Responsibilities: Open pallets or cases of yarn using duck bill knife or other appropriate hand tool. Recycle or discard packaging materials Remove yarn from container, transfer to creel pegs and splice in. Place empty tubes in magazine Place appropriate yarn label inside tube of finished yarn Tie off and doff packages of finished yarn Visually compare finished yarn to a standard for color and quality discrepancies Pack yarn out Compare labels; doff tickets, and specification sheets for discrepancies Maintain any reports and/or records Keep work areas in clean, orderly manner Position Requirements: Frequently require to read, write, stand, walk, reach 78 ins and handle packages up to 14lbs Occasionally required to lift 25lbs Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, stoop, and lift Mission Statement: Great People.
