Project Manager

Small Contractor who has been around for over 30 years is looking for someone who will grow to be the presidents right hand person. This person needs be able to juggle employees, and oversee the management team.

Requirements:

Degree in engineering: Civil, Mechanical or Construction Management background who has worked on federal, City and State projects preferred. Able to handle deadlines and needs to be highly organized.

6 to 8 plus years working as a Project Manager on commercial, City and County and Federal projects.

This person will be groomed to move into the Operations role so this role is crucial.

Project Manager duties

Assist in the planning, organization, control and completion of the project requirements. Inform PM of issues that may affect the project cost and schedule requirements.

Assist PM with coordinating subcontractor/vendor work.

Assist project foreman with developing/submitting five-week short term schedule & manpower requirements.

Maintain & monitor RFI log.

Assist PM in soliciting subcontractors/vendors proposal for change order work.

Prepare & submit weekly Contractor Production Reports to GSA.
