As Drafter, you will produce machine drawings and schematics from various specifications, sketches and solid models using CAD (computer aided drafting), standards and other various techniques and tools.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify:Solidworks CAD models and drawings or Auto-Cad drawings of Sheet metal, machined or procured parts, weldments and assembliesZuken or Auto-Cad drawings of electrical or hydraulic schematics

Have sound understanding of ASME Y14.5 - 2009

Manage files in EPDM (e.g. file transfer in work flow, data card properties, etc)

Coordinate and consult with co-workers to resolve issues and complete tasks.

Verify dimensions, tolerances, specifications and GD&T as required.

Create / assign part numbers and descriptions of materials, parts and assemblies.

Field, disposition and implement Engineering Change Request(s) (ECRs) by revising documentation to correct or improve products or processes.

Perform other duties that may be assigned

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

- Associates degree in drafting and 2 years of experience drafting in a machine design capacity.Ability to:ï‚· Communicate effectively with routine reports and correspondence.ï‚· Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.ï‚· Proficiently use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometer, gage pins and surface roughness gages.ï‚· Proficiently use software tools including MS Office, MS Teams, MRP software (SAP).
