Description: What is the specific title of the position? IT-Architect/29/TEC003 Work location? Telecommute (US time zone, preferred CST or EST) Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? 8:30am - 5:30pm Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? This position is aligned with the client Strategic Platform organization and will be responsible for defining architectures that are part of the North Star strategy. This position will coordinate with client enterprise architects to align on engineering practices, priorities and adoption of those standards and best practices within the client organization. client is in the middle of a technical business transformation and there is a need to continue to bring in external talent to help accelerate the delivery of strategic architectures that define the Pharmacy Services Platform. These components include the client Operational Data Platform, Capability Domains, Event Hub, Authorization Service, and Unified Graph, which are critical for the modernization of the client Pharmacy Services Platform. Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members? 5-7 enterprise architects What is the break-down of the team s skill sets (ex: 1 PM 4 Developers etc.)? Primarily architects with secondary skills in full-stack engineering, DevOps, cloud, and design systems. What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? This position will define the future state (strategic) architecture for various components of the Pharmacy Platform. Once a new platform component is accepted through our intake process one of our architects will take the lead to research and explore options, identify partners and stakeholders, develop an architecture, validate through PoCs, document a microsite, present the architecture at a architecture review board and help socialize to extended teams and guide other architects in it's implementation. Design strategic platform architectures to meet business objectives, while also aligning with client Technology and the Health Care Platform Collaborate with the business to understand/influence business requirements Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions Collaborate with enterprise architects to gain buy-in and support for strategic platform components. Ensure best practices are followed Define architectures, guidelines, patterns, roadmaps, and other collateral to enable delivery teams to transition to future state architectures and implementations Work with delivery team architects and relevant business stakeholders in understanding key business requirements and develop strategic architectures to meet that need What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? Heathcare experience is a plus. Background in enterprise architecture is required. What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience in a software engineering or architect role Experience in domain-specific architecture concepts and emerging technologies Experience leading through influence in a large, matrixed, global environment Experience working with matrix teams including teams in different time zones Experience in delivering enterprise architectures Experience creating architectures and platforms and influencing development teams, business users, and management in the adoption of technical solutions What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Experience working with a variety of technologies and methods such as microservices, Agile, Azure, CICD, Cosmos, graph, ML, data warehousing, security, CICD, DevOps Experience with cloud services from Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or EC2 Expertise in engineering or enterprise architecture on critical, scalable, and flexible systems Leadership experience in delivering enterprise architectures Experience in leading a team of software engineers, architects, or other similar technical fields Solid Collaboration skills and ability to communicate across multiple levels in the organization Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3? Prefer expertise in data, BPM, and automation I'm flexible on time requirements. If we have a candidate with great skills we can be flexible on years of experience with each individual skill. Are you open to candidates that cannot convert to FTE without sponsorship? Not requiring sponsorship would be preferred but I'd be open. What will the interview process look like?
