Job Description

As concierge specialist, you will be responsible for pick up and delivery of the customer's vehicle to and from the service location in a safe and timely manner. To be successful in this role, you will provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential customers. You’ll be efficient and have first-rate time management skills, ensuring that your tasks get done on time. You’ll also be detail-oriented, working to complete the right task at the right time, every time. Lastly, you’ll have a positive attitude and be able to express the mission, purpose, and benefits of the AutoThink brand.

Part time shifts available (flexibility preferred)

Wage: $16/hr

The Concierge Specialist will:

Professionally engage and interact with internal and external customers.

Communicate effectively with dealership service staff

Safely pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from maintenance locations.

Work and drive with a partner to ensure timely completion of vehicle delivery

Focus on safety and customer service at all times.

Follow all local, state and federal traffic laws and regulations

Use navigation apps and knowledge of the area to travel the most efficient routes

Drive safely in all weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, etc.)

Thoroughly inspect and document vehicle condition and/or customer concerns

Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Attend team meetings, trainings, and professional development as assigned

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, preferred

Possess a valid authorized driver's license

10+ years automotive driving experience

Have a working smartphone able to run AutoThink-required applications

Have a reliable source of transportation to and from work, and during all working hours;

Personal car is required for driving based upon schedule and assigned driver position for the day. (will not be everyday)

Have at least three consecutive years of safe driving experience that is free of major violations/automobile accidents

Both a criminal background check, as well as a driver record check will be performed.

Ability to pass an in-house driving test, familiar with applicable driving laws and regulations

-AutoThink will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law.

Knowledge/Skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate via phone, SMS, or email

Knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, and other applications as needed

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Possess a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient

Ability to react positively to changes and adjust accordingly

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to make sound, ethical decisions, displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism

Superior detail-oriented administrative skills

Ability to work under pressure and plan your personal workload

Must able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Physical Requirements

To meet the travel requirements of this job, an employee must have the ability to drive or sit in a vehicle for long enough to reach client(s) and dealership(s).

Able to drive 6-8 hours per day

Able to bend, stoop, and climb in and out of vehicles

Required to drive in all elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.)

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and carry the weight 30 feet.

Location

The Concierge Specialist will be based in West Long Branch and will be assigned a zone supporting several dealerships.

Wear masks while in the vehicles with coworkers

Our concierge specialists are provided jump bags that include antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap and thermometers for fever checks along with other items to ensure our customers and drivers safety.
