• Work directly with and/or oversee technical project groups to help execute implementation of compute, network, storage, and security infrastructure projects from a technical, educational, and documentation creation review perspective.• Develop and incorporate best practices and improvements into engineering processes and methodologies to increase resiliency, efficiency and quality. • Engage with key technology business partners to understand infrastructure requirements, application architecture roadmaps, and software development lifecycles.• Support the collection of key metrics to gauge and report on our operational experience based on quality of recovery against business objectives, timeliness and disaster recovery standards. • Work with technology leadership, technology product development, support teams and vendors to ensure on time, on budget, and quality delivery of technical solutions that support the strategic direction of the business and technology.• Ensure capacity and availability of service offerings by analyzing resource consumption through various tools and monitoring. • Characterize complex problems related to the scalability, reliability, performance, and security of information systems into actionable requirements and solutions. • Manage, identify and troubleshoot orchestration, tooling, compute, and network ecosystem, ensuring feature and capabilities meet service level objectives. • Manage hardware, software, and utilities for installation, modification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of operating systems and networking environments. Additional Requirements Required Qualifications• 2-4 years of experience developing, managing, and maintaining Disaster Recovery program and processes • Good knowledge of any cloud, Terraform, Dockers/Kubernetes.• 5 - 8 years as a Systems Engineer in the design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex system software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and programming concepts and techniques • 4+ years of ground up assessment, design, and implementation of various infrastructure platforms, like Compute, Storage, Networking and Security• Success in implementing ITIL processes • Proven ability to assess, research, document, and produce quality information and insights around complex infrastructure Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Field • Resiliency background, training, and certification
