An Apparel manager would be responsible for the daily operation of the department including
Helping customers select the right products
Utilize a point-of-sale system to record sales and special orders
Open and close a cash drawer
Create purchase orders for needed products
Check-in received merchandise
Maintain inventory levels through sales forecasting, purchasing, and markdowns
Knowledge and experience of the following are appreciated.
Retail sales
Customer service
Inventory control
Merchandise buying
Merchandise display
Employee management
Event coordination
Promotion
The ideal candidate would
Love Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and be a part of our culture
Have a clean driving record. A motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
Be highly self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to succeed
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Exemplify professional standards in appearance and communication from the first impression
Be willing to provide outstanding customer service
Have a positive attitude with the desire to grow personally and professionally
Have the ability to work as part of a team toward a common goal
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
This position has excellent earning potential and benefits which includes paid vacation and holidays, health and life insurance, employee discount, and 401K.
The salary range posted does not include commision and bonuses based on sales performance. Candidates with more experience may qualify for pay above the posted range.
Retail hours include Tuesday to Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Saturday hours are expected.
