As an Operator Station Engineer for John Deere’s Construction & Forestry Division located in Dubuque, IA, you will be responsible for the operator station design on earthmoving products. In addition, you will….

Participate on Product Delivery Process (PDP) teams as a Cab Design Engineer, ensuring design activities and plans are formulated and followed

Participate on internal teams to drive methodology, processes, and tools to design Cab Structures and Interior Components

Perform investigation, determine root cause, and recommend solutions for field issues

1 or more years of experience performing design, analysis, and/or testing for a defined portion of a project

1 or more years of experience with the design or manufacturing of off-highway equipment

1 or more years of experience with Creo (Pro-E) or equivalent modeling tools

Strong problem-solving skills with ability to be self-directed and motivated

Excellent communication and leadership skillsWhat Makes You Stand Out:

Prior operator station design experience

Good understanding of ergonomic principles

Prior experience utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Prior experience developing composite components

Good understanding of Construction, Forestry, or Agricultural Equipment ApplicationsEducation:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
