FCA Packaging, a leading provider of customized, heavy-duty industrial packaging products and services, is seeking an engineering professional to join their Coal Valley team as a Packaging Engineer. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

In this critical role, you will learn how to manage all areas of design and engineering with a current or prospective customer including project scope and timeline development, product design, FCA resource coordination, prototype testing, build print generation, and product transition to production.

Development and implementation of successful, cost-effective product designs

Enhance customer relationships and satisfaction

Customer and New Prospect Project Management

Engineering process development and improvement

Supporting business development (Sales/Customer Service) with closing new business opportunities

Project Management

Define new project scope and timeline

Design specification development

Prototype and testing management

Support Business Development sales effort

Manage cost and quality improvement redesign opportunities

Communication with business development and pricing teams to achieve goals

Capable of meeting customer technical support need
