Job Description

As the

Senior Territory Manager (STM),you will be responsible for providing the necessary direction and leadership of an Account Executive and Business Development Representative within an assigned territory.Your team will call on member-centric companies in your territory to identify current challenges and opportunities that they face.With a multi-product line, you are responsible for aligning the right suite of services that best meet the needs of the customer and meet or exceed assigned sales revenue goals.

We'll expect you to

  • Executea Sales Plan which defines how the sales team will obtain the sales objectives, monitorprogress towards those objectives, and adjust plans as necessary to reach them.
  • Motivateteam members to reach high standards of performance by establishing an environment within the team that encourages and recognizes diligence, dedication, and a sense of mission.
  • Do more than meet and greet.Acquire and develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue.
  • Get all up in their businesswhile you sell. Oversee proposal development and alignment of our software/services with customer needs.
  • Diagnose the pain. Understand our customers' greatest problems and offer solutions that fit their budget and their ability to absorb the cure.
  • Negotiate and Closenew logo opportunities, as well as work with the Client Executives to negotiate new contracts on existing accounts.
  • Maximize territory revenue.Growannual revenue for assigned territory.
  • Rub some elbows.Execute a top-down sales approach targeting Presidents, CFOs, COOs, and CIOs to convert prospects into clients.
  • Traveljust enough to build a healthy stock of free miles, 50% travel(post-COVID).
  • Ring the bell.Meet or Exceed assigned sales revenue goals and activity goals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ yearsof B2B sales experience with a proven track record
  • Experience in a complex sale required, software sales is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ownership/self-starter is part of your DNA
  • Ability to: Listen. Plan. Take action. Own your business.
  • Proven proficiency in "account plan" development and implementation of related sales strategies required.
  • Proven ability to canvas, qualify, analyze needs, present/demo, and close prospects.
