Bring your ideas to Boeing and help shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Analysts to support Production Engineering Core activities in Washington. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, and electricians and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and monitors plan of action and schedule to improve quality, reduce cost and enhance efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring Production engineering practices.
  • Leads projects using approved project management techniques.
  • Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, and manufacturing processes.
  • Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
  • Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.
  • Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production, and process requirements.
  • Communicates with internal/external collaborators to ensure product and service compliance.
  • Works under general direction.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Advanced education degree (e.g. Associate).
  • 5 or more years of proven experience with production systems in a manufacturing or production capacity.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experienced in Production project creation and support.
  • Experience building teams to support projects.
  • Experience working with multi-functional collaborators to gain approvals.
  • Knowledge of Production Engineering processes.
  • Comfortable working independently and with general direction.
Typical Education/Experience:
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years related work experience, etc.)
