Sr. Accountant

DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Sr Project Accountant who is well versed in business retail operations (cash and credit processes), property management, and property development.This roll-up the sleeves Sr Project accountant will:

maintain loan draws and lien releases

record journal entries and accruals

reconcile deposits and perform account and bank reconciliations

assist in month-end close processes

responsible for cash flow monitoring and allocation of expenses to projects

asset management

complete special projects as needed.

The ideal Sr Project Accountant will have knowledge of JDE and advanced MS Excel skills.Requirements

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

Deep understanding of general ledger

Property accounting experience preferred

Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel

Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate

Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Self-starter and strong ethical standards

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Proficient in ERP systems
