Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a strong Quality Assurance Technician candidate, responsible for performing a variety of lab duties such as inspections on raw and packaging material. Volt Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSComply with company Quality Policy on all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality and food safety requirementsEnsure high quality of products, housekeeping, hygiene standards are maintained and improvedReport quality and food safety findings to management Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenSupport investigations and problem solving Collect finished goods samplesCalibrate lab equipment such as pH meter, moisture analyzers, refractometer and scales Knowledge on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure).Daily routine sample analysesDaily/weekly plating, reading, product release/holds, swabbing, calibration and sample collection Multi-tasking abilities requiredGood mathematics, problem solving, and analytical skillsFlexible to work overtime, weekends and holidaysTeam and safety orientedREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma 2-3 years manufacturing QA/QC and/or laboratory experience in food industryCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirementsTo learn more about Volt, please visit: http://www.volt.com and to see more of our job postings, please visit: http://jobs.volt.com
