This includes playing a key role in the development and implementation of an emissions reduction roadmap in collaboration with an interdisciplinary set of stakeholders.Thorough understanding of emissions, carbon reporting, renewable energy, offsets, and energy efficiency (preferably in warehouse, office, and healthcare environments) is required. Energy auditing experience preferred.Coordinates energy procurement, renewable energy purchasing, and implementation of new technologies with the global energy and sustainability platform.Develops and presents energy efficiency and other sustainability-related project proposals for the sites under management. Responsible for formalizing scope, obtaining quotes, performing project savings analysis, and obtaining project approval.Collaborates with the global CBRE platform on the implementation and management of energy and sustainability projects in a timely and accurate fashion.Communicates past, present, and future energy and emissions reduction plans and performance through formal presentations. Strong people and communication skills required. The candidate should be able to work with the client, FM leadership, and facility operations team members to communicate value and progress.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.#INDSJColorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education,training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Energy Manager - REMOTE position is $100,000 annually and themaximum salary for the Energy Manager - REMOTE position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to asuccessful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
