Overview:The Associate Corporate Counsel position is responsible for all aspects of local, regional and global contracting, including drafting and negotiating contracts supporting all Teleperformance services. Candidate will draft and negotiate contracts for both new sales opportunities and existing client relationships. Candidate will work closely with sales teams, internal operations management, client services, clients and external legal teams. The successful candidate will work directly with multiple internal departments and corporate executive management on a variety of corporate legal matters. Due to this role supporting Teleperformance programs across the world, knowledge of data privacy and security and laws is helpful, but not required.Responsibilities:Review, redline, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors in a wide variety of industries/business sectors in accordance with corporate contractual requirements; interface with other corporate departments and legal counsel for clients/vendors to negotiate and finalize contracts;

Be familiar with and have experience negotiating contracts in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI);

Be familiar with and have a working knowledge of corporate organizational and Board of Director matters, including drafting a variety of corporate documents as directed;

Be familiar with all aspects of global privacy law and regulation, including data protection and privacy, data retention, data transfers, data security and data breach rules;

Evaluate and provide advice regarding regulatory compliance of services in BSFI space on a country-by-country basis;

Respond to requests from auditors, clients, regulators;

Contribute as a value-adding member of the Teleperformance legal department;

Promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct;

Timely and professionally perform other related duties and assignments as directed.

Qualifications:5 years of active contract law experience.

Critical thinking, proactive attitude, strong writing and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently, strong time and task management skills, and deadline adherence.

Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom and other related programs.

Ability to interact at high levels within management groups, as well as external contacts with legal teams.

Ability to project a professional image and at all times demonstrate the five Teleperformance values of integrity, respect, professionalism, innovation and commitment.

Graduate from an ABA accredited law school, licensed in good standing in at least one state, and a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience.
