If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Professional Practice to join our Audit Operations organization.Responsibilities:Implement the professional practice strategy and direction

Work with the PPS Executive Director or Senior Director and Business Unit Professional Practice Partner (BUPPP) to develop the overall direction and strategy for compliance at the business unit level in cooperation with supporting consistent application and sharing of best practices across the Audit Practice

Drive the implementation of the strategy through the business unit(s); analyze developing trends in the firm and assess impact on the structure

Act as the 'go to' person for the PPS Executive Director or Senior Director and BUPPP for all Risk Management and Professional Practice compliance activities to facilitate timely, complete and accurate response to requests including acceptance, continuance, re-evaluations, partner rotation, engagement independence, workload and partner / MD assignment

Manage PPS staff support the field and BUPPP

Oversee content and delivery of local office training for risk management applications, as needed; work with team to facilitate sessions as appropriate

Qualifications:Minimum eight years of recent related experience or at least seven years in client service delivery and/or professional practice or Risk Management experience; minimum of four years of experience as a direct supervisor for staff consisting of different professional levels

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or equivalent in years of work experience; CPA is preferred

Must have a deep understanding of functional process around professional practice and risk management activities and service offerings

Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as develop strategy and implement with buy-in from business unit leadership; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiating skills required; strong experience in Risk Management applications and Microsoft Office Suite such as, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point

Must be able to travel as needed, less than ten percent
