Architectural Designer/Project Manager

We are seeking a designer for help with residential projects throughout the state. A degree in the field of architecture and 2-5 years of experience is preferred but not required. Freelance, Part-time, or Full-time positions are possible based upon a persons skills and experience. We are a small company and are looking for someone who is motivated to grow with our team. Approval of AXP hours is available to those who are on a licensure track.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Microsoft Office
Comfort with sketching and hand drawing
Working knowledge of building and zoning codes
A plus: Up to 4 years of experience practicing in the field of architecture
A plus: Proficiency in Enscape, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with principal on both collaborative and independent projects
Producing and coordinating design and drawings from concept to permit, including thorough construction documents and details
Coordinating finish selections, schedules and specifications
A successful candidate will have a background in both construction and architecture and will be able to identify vulnerabilities and obstacles, and then create innovative solutions to any problems. We're looking for someone who is easy to work with, someone who has experience using subcontractors, vendors, and spreadsheets to track timelines and costs.
