Internally, this individual will help foster the culture of the future of the A&I/OCE organization, unleashing the power of a diverse team and establishing our team as a leader in our ability to attract, develop, and retain under-represented talent.How you will contribute:As a member of the A&I/OCE Leadership team, this individual will be accountable for delivering the following:Identify and prioritize processes and efficiencies realized through governance that help to enhance operational effectiveness
Manage engagement across a broad range of cross-functional, Enterprise initiatives to ensure connectivity and optimize alignment across A&I/OCE
Responsible for KPI tracking and reporting across A&I/OCE
Actively support A&I/OCE culture, engagement, and connectivity
Lead special projects aligned to key strategic priorities across A&I/OCE
Drives, shapes and enables growth of A&I/OCE by evolving vision and leading change management activities while ensuring buy-in across the organization
Accountable for identifying, managing, driving and measuring impact of key Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and health equity initiatives across A&I and OCE.
Help the A&I/OCE unlock the potential and power represented in a diverse organization
Creates an environment that inspires and enables people to move the organization forward in an authentic, diverse, and equitable fashion
Drive A&I/OCE priorities focused on attracting, developing, and retaining under-represented talent
Partner with GPLS DE&I, Medical Health Equity, Advocacy, and other related teams across Takeda to collaborate, share knowledge, and pull-through best practices to help elevate Takeda as a leader in the DE&I space
Further the A&I/OCE and brand understanding of healthcare inequities and social determinants of health through internal advocacy and education
Lead the strategic thinking, capability build, and organizational change management requirements necessary to realize the A&I/OCE model of the future
Manage the A&I/OCE Chief of Staff, with responsibilities that include the coordination of business and culture events, tracking and reporting of key goals and metrics, and communication to leadership and cross-functional colleagues
Support the A&I/OCE leadership team in evaluating strategic choices and representing diverse perspectives in organizational decision-making and scale of OCE/A&I capabilities
Engage as-needed with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Brand Leads, HR, Corporate Communications, Patient Services, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs) to facilitate execution, encourage consistency, remove roadblocks, and manage conflicting priorities
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience with increasing responsibilities in marketing or related commercial function
Minimum of six (6) years' experience with digital, managing interactive and/or relationship marketing strategies
Experience in Commercial model and organizational design
Extensive experience in Organizational Change Management
Thought-leadership level of understanding and experience of Design Thinking
Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate (verbally/written) in a persuasive and appropriate manner at the executive level
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without authority across a wide range of disciplines within a collaborative, regulated, and cross-functional environment
Ability to make sound business decisions by having a strong understanding about business, finance, and risks/benefits of decisions
Ability to inspire and empower others to be at their best and deals with corrective actions in a manner that inspires accountability
Experience in distilling complex ideas to specific use cases that are simple, clear, actionable, and exciting
Create a strong vision for DE&I for brands at Takeda, with ability to build a plan and execute to achieve this vision
Strong desire for new and innovative ideas from within pharma and outside the industry to meet the needs of our customers, both internal and external
Understanding of the brand strategy development process
Focuses on a few priorities and delivers superior results
Experience with conflict resolution
